Reading is one of those things that I struggle with. I can't help it, book ruts, judging covers, and I am just picky. I tend to fall into genres and can't find my way out. Newsletters, and social media however mean my TBR pile is thousands of books big. School also means, I don't get a lot of time to read books I also want to read. But I am trying.
Love your local library.
For social media lovers, you can find me on Bluesky, Mastodon, or the new EH!. But I am terrible at remembering to use it.

Promise Me Sunshine, is a hard read. I read it in spurts because the emotion is RAW. For anyone that has a glimpse into me knows, that life is tough right now and grief is something I am realizing I am processing. So the timing for this book.. ouch. It didn't give a heavy, hard feel on insta so I think I thought it was going to be more of a lighter read than it is.
It's fantastic don't get me wrong. But I relate to it a little more than I want to right now.
Eleven chapters in and hoping this one is one that heals more than it hurts.
