Our story
Faith (of Faith and Spoons) came to be, because church felt like too much busy and not enough God. It became something of a to do list, rather than a relationship with the divine.
It was about rules, and approval instead of unconditional love, grace and mercy.
Spoons, came to be because as someone that lives with a disability and chronic illness, church, doesn't always work for, or welcome me.
I knew I was not the only disabled, or chronically ill person and we all deserved a space to join with God and each other. But I realized it runs deeper that that. Especially in the world we live in.
Not everyone can do Sunday morning. We have nightshifts, multiple jobs, busy households, and lets face it more churches are closing than opening in many cities.
It's time to reimagine church.
Our Way of Being
Faith, is about living, loving and doing life in the way that Jesus did. It's not about getting butts in pews to keep a bank account healthy. It's not something we do on a Sunday morning, and then forget about until the next Sunday.
The hope for Faith and Spoons is to break down the wall and help people build a foundation that leads to a living, growing, faith and way of being.
Bringing the relationship back to Jesus, to creation and to each other.

Driven by passion
My passion has always been the spiritual side of life, and people.
I am an introverted extrovert.
I love church but I often feel like the church misfit. I felt like it was a nudge. Like I wasn't the only one feeling this way. I felt the need for a place to come together.
Intentional Living
This is the place for those seeking a deeper relationship with God, and with themselves.
Whether your church curious, spiritual but not religious, unsure, walk a unique path of your own, or just can't attend church for whatever reason.
